To hunt online, players need to have an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription. The Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak demo will be available in both single player or multiplayer mode via local or online. The demo will also reward players with a bonus item pack that they can claim in the full version of the game. For experienced hunters, players can jump right into the fray and try out the new Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Switch Skill Swap feature and new Silkbind Attacks for each weapon. This includes several training quests where new players can learn about hunting basics such as Wyvern Riding. ![]() The demo will have several other features incorporated into it as well. Previous Monster Hunter demos usually only have three difficulty levels, and Capcom emphasized that its fourth "Advanced" quest will be "super tough" as it features a seemingly powered-up version of flagship monster Malzeno. According to Capcom, the demo will feature four hunting quests with different difficulty levels. To give the player base a taste of what the expansion will bring at the end of June, a new Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak demo will be released on June 14, 2022, 7:00PM PDT or J3:00AM BST, and will be available on both Nintendo Switch and Steam platforms.
